Leyla Brittan is a Turkish American writer originally from Chappaqua, NY. She graduated from Harvard University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in English and a secondary concentration in computer science, and she received her MFA in Creative Writing in 2023 from the University of Wyoming. She has attended Jentel Artist Residency and the Tin House Young Adult Novel Workshop. Leyla is the author of the contemporary YA novel Ros Demir Is Not the One and the forthcoming YA thriller Crown of Antlers. She is also a technical writer and actor, and she has previously worked in journalism, film and television production, and the outdoor sports industry.
