Leyla Brittan is a Turkish American writer originally from Chappaqua, NY. She graduated from Harvard University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in English and a secondary concentration in computer science, and she received her MFA in Creative Writing in 2023 from the University of Wyoming. She is a graduate of the Tin House YA Novel Workshop. Leyla is the author of the young adult novel Ros Demir Is Not the One, and she has previously worked in journalism and in film and television production.
